The mortuary complex of Pepi I is situated in the southern archaeological complex of Saqqara, Egypt. It was excavated in the 1960s by the French Archaeological Mission of Saqqara (MafS) which, all around the main pharaoh's pyramid, discovered about ten new pyramids for the queens and family of this pharaoh.[1].
